A $470 bikini, which gives off the impression of somebody holding your boobs in place, has got the internet divided.

If you want to make a real statement by the poolside this summer, then this Adriana Degreas bikini top will certainly tick a lot of boxes.

The brand deems it a perfect fit for “those topless Mediterranean beaches”.

Although the top is more iconic, the red, string bottoms are fairly standard.

The new product has picked up some mixed reviews from shoppers.

“Beyond ridiculous, but it will probably sell out in this crazy culture.” One user commented.

Another said that the next thing will be a “hands” bottom.

Adriana Degreas is known for its tulle bikinis though, and this one is now only available in large after selling out in other sizes.

Just recently the brand announced a collaboration with Cult Gais which saw a simple strip of what was made to look like duct tape covering the nipples.

Many people quickly fell in love with the latest piece, desperate to ask Instagram influencer, @kelly.travelling where she got it from.

One wrote: “Oh my god, this swimsuit is a whole game.”

It’s safe to say the verdict is still out on this handy swimsuit, but with it selling out quickly, we don’t have too long to deliberate.

This isn’t the first time that social media users have become the human embodiment of the confused face emoji over unusual bikini styles.

From Missguided’s $1.80 “unsustainable” bikini to Fashion Nova’s underboob bikini, it’s been a year of bold swimwear choices.

Now, Adriana Degreas’ strapless bikini has joined the ranks.
