It’s one of the biggest nights for the British TV elite, so of course the stars wanted to make sure they stood out from the crowd on the National Television Awards red carpet.

Handfuls of celebrities turned up at the London event wearing sheer dresses, despite the temperature plummeting in the UK overnight.

Love Island’s Maura Higgins led the ‘naked’ dress brigade with her stunning purple Ray Wooldrigdge gown, which featured specks of purple glitter and voluminous feather cuffs.

Her co-star Molly-Mae Hague showed up on the red carpet on the arm of her boyfriend, Tommy Fury, wearing a sheer white dress with a matching fur wrap.

They weren’t the only reality TV stars who showed up leaving little to the imagination on the night, as fellow Love Island star and eventual winner of the show, Amber Gill also decided to don a dress which was sheer from the thighs down.

It wasn’t just dresses that were see-through on the night either, as Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir Singh rocked up wearing a jumpsuit which was also sheer.

UK TV stars Georgia Steel, Caprice, Montana Brown and Katie McGlynn also wore revealing gowns at the awards show.
