“The Sex Lives of College Girls” cast talks hiding Pauline Chalamet's pregnancy during season 3
The cast plays a college-themed game of This or That.
The cast of The Sex Lives of College Girls knows what they want.
Entertainment Weekly gathered returning stars Pauline Chalamet, Alyah Chanelle Scott, and Amrit Kaur, along with newcomers Mia Rodgers and Gracie Lawrence, to play This or That: College Edition. Along with sharing their thoughts on big parties versus intimate gatherings, early classes versus late classes, leaving early versus staying late, and so much more, they also discussed one of the challenges of filming the third season of the Max comedy: Chalamet, who plays Kimberly, was trying to keep her pregnancy a secret.
"I was awful," Kaur admits, as Chalamet laughs about how she'd ask about her cravings in front of the crew, and Scott would often have to swoop in and try to pivot the conversation. "I just say what I'm thinking," Kaur adds with a laugh.
But as far as the show's concerned, Chalamet's pregnancy hasn't affected the season at all. Kimberly is still enjoying all that college life has to offer — you know, as much as she can without messing up her future of becoming a Supreme Court justice.
Meanwhile, Rodgers and Lawrence play newcomers Taylor and Kacey, who have helped to fill the hole left by Reneé Rapp's exit at the end of episode 2. Taylor is an international student from the U.K., while Casey is the ladies' new roommate — she followed her middle-school sweetheart to college before quickly discovering that he had been cheating on her.
