Serena Williams’ Daughter Adira Now Has Her Own Instagram Just Like Big Sister Olympia
"I know it’s been over a year but I’m just getting to this," read the debut post on Adira's page
Serena Williams' family has a new addition on Instagram!
On Sunday, Oct. 13, the retired tennis star, 43, and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, launched their 13-month-old daughter Adira’s official Instagram account. Adira joins big sister Olympia, 7, on the social media platform.
"Oh hello there - I know it’s been over a year but I’m just getting to this," read the caption of the debut post, which was made in collaboration with Adira's parents' Instagram accounts.
The post contains a selection of images of the toddler, beginning with a sweet shot of her sitting in a pink high chair as she looked toward the camera while eating an array of food.
The carousel continues with a snap of Adira lounging on a chair wearing a pink floral onesie with one of her hands in her hair, followed by a photo of the little girl in the same outfit with a red pacifier in her mouth as she stood near a couch.
The fourth image shows Adira standing in a pair of yellow bell-bottom pants and a white and yellow floral shirt as she held two boxes seemingly filled with film camera refills.
The final shot captures Adira wearing a pink dress as she stood on top of a small white slide.
The description of Adira's new Instagram account reads "Gummy Bear," along with three emojis: a person running, a red heart, and a man behind a computer. As of now, the account is following four people: parents Serena and Alexis, aunt Venus Williams and sister Olympia.
The first post on Olympia’s Instagram account was made on Sept. 13, 2017 — less than two weeks after she was born on Sep. 1. "Thinking about mommy and daddy 🏃🏿♀️👨🏻💻," the caption read.

Since then, Olympia's account has been regularly updated. A post from August 2024 shows Olympia and Adira holding hands during a trip to Paris. In the photo, the elder sister wore a matching hot pink set, while her baby sibling sported dark blue jeans and a light purple shirt as she was pushed in a hot pink stroller.
"Sisters in Paris," the post was captioned.
Last month, Serena opened up about giving birth to Adira, sharing that she made the decision to have a C-section.

"Looking back, I'll never have that moment again. For whatever weird reason, that kind of makes me a little sad, but that's probably a party of one," she said of giving birth naturally to Olympia.
"This time I went in with a plan," Serena continued. "I like to say I put my best effort out there, and this was no different. I literally thought about it as a Grand Slam: 'How can I succeed?' "
