Selena Gomez Wore a Gold Ring on Her Left Hand Amid Engagement Rumors

It's not the first time she's sparked speculation in recent weeks.

Selena Gomez is continuing to spark speculation that she and Benny Blanco are engaged. Just weeks after sharing a selfie with a very strategically-placed emoji over her left ring finger, the Only Murders in the Building actress seemed to hint that wedding bells could be in the couple’s future as she stepped out with a new gold band on her left hand.

The multi-hyphenate sent Selenators into overdrive as she was spotted with the new bling on her left ring finger on Thursday, per photos shared by Page Six. Gomez, who wore the gold ring as she left a Subway in Los Angeles, went casual for her afternoon sandwich outing in black leggings, an oversized slate gray graphic Selena T-shirt, and a pair of silver headphones. Clutching a pair of pink sunglasses and her phone in her hands, the star wore her dark locks down in a middle-parted style and appeared to go fresh-faced for her day out.

Gomez’s new ring is just the latest update that seems to suggest that she and her music producer boyfriend could be taking the next steps. After celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi sparked rumors with a tip that Blanco had proposed “surrounded by friends at their usual beach house hang,” fans noticed that Gomez began following CMG Weddings & Events, a wedding planning company, on TikTok. She also shared a selfie with Blanco on Aug. 8 with pink heart emojis over her left hand.

While Gomez and Blanco have been together just over a year, both of them have gushed about their relationship and the future they see together. Blanco has even gone so far as to say he thinks about having kids with Gomez “every day,” and his “next goal” is to start a family.

“That’s my next goal, to check the box,” Blanco said during an interview on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show. “I have a ton of godkids; I’ve got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids.”

The musician played coy when asked about his plans to propose to Gomez, saying, “I take everything a day at a time. I just know that when I look at her, I just say, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.’ That’s what I always say to her.”

Meanwhile, the “Single Soon” singer gushed about her romance with the songwriter in a May interview with Time, saying “I just cherish every moment with him. I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that he’s not going anywhere any time soon.”
