The 2024 Today show Halloween costume reveal took a nostalgic turn, rewinding viewers to the era when a trip to Blockbuster was the exciting start to movie nights.

As the show's stars browsed a convincing re-creation of the iconic store wearing fashions from the '80s and '90s, they used their VHS picks to segue from iconic movie scenes into revealing each of their costumes.
