Sassy Husky Deliberately Destroys Dad’s Freshly-Made Bed Like a Boss

Huskies are an incredibly expressive breed. They have an animated way of sharing their feelings, whether happy or sad. Many even talk back like teenagers when things aren't going their way.

This feisty boy wasn't pleased with Dad's choice to make the bed and didn't hold back his opinions on the matter. Even if you don't speak dog, figuring out what he's trying to say won't be hard.

Take a look at his playful protest in this video from September 3:

This naughty boy is quite the troublemaker! Even though his dad attempted to tidy up for the day, Blue (@imbluethesiberian) wasn't happy with his work. He wasted no time jumping onto the pristinely made bed and flattened the pillows his father had just neatly karate-chopped as if for a Better Homes and Garden photo shoot. In fact, he took it as an invitation to destroy them. The more frustrated his father became, the happier he seemed to do it. When Dad inquired, "Are you serious?" Blue responded with what sounded like, "Of course I am."

Not wanting to argue with this cheeky boy, Dad repositioned the decorative pillows around him. But that didn't last for more than a second. This charming dog was unwilling to accept this well-made bed, and that was his final word. On the bright side, at least it was in the morning and not after changing the sheets, which is when both of mine always seem to enjoy playing the epic game of roughhousing.

Are Huskies Troublemakers?

Many Siberian Husky parents report they can be! While research by scientist Stanley Coren rates them as having intelligence, they are well above average in their ability to communicate. They are also known to be independent thinkers, meaning they can get into mischief and be more challenging to train. However, these beloved dogs are also affectionate, playful, and loyal, making any effort they require worthwhile.

The silly fellow had people entertained. Viewer @scott_c_brennan responded, "The face at the end - OMG! Blue is quite proud of himself." He was! And he looking at Mom for approval. Viewer @2husketeers remarked, "It's a rule to mess up the bed as soon as it gets made." If that's true, he did a terrific job. Viewer @halfhuskybros shared, "We gave up making the bed for this very reason." It's presumably better for your sanity that way.

Although we might perceive some of these behaviors as our dogs being sassy, it's typically just because they're in a playful mood. They always know how to have a good time and want to share it with their people.
