Samoyed and Dachshund Sisters Share the Coziest Nap Together and People Want In

There are few things as comforting as a nap with your dog. Their warmth and calm presence provide the perfect conditions for restful sleep. So, it's no surprise that dogs also enjoy snoozing with each other.

While these images are always adorable, this one is on an entirely different level. As you might imagine, a 50-pound Samoyed and a 6-pound Dachshund snuggling together is truly a sight to behold.

Take a look at these precious pals in a video from August 17:

Oh my goodness! I did not doubt that this duo would be adorable quietly napping together, but Leia's (@leia_lilybear) fluffy tail engulfing her teeny sausage sister is cuteness overload! Talk about cozy! That abundant soft, white fur provides a magical place to rest, and if you're a tiny dog prone to being cold, there's no better spot in the house. However, it's hard to imagine this Dachshund doesn't wake up with a mouthful of fur. But that's a small price to pay for a warm and safe sleep. If these two sweethearts were in my house, I would find it hard to get much done. While they might decrease my productivity, I'm confident they would also increase my joy.

People can't get enough of these two, and it's safe to say everyone wants to be a part of this sweet cuddle session!

Are Samoyed Heavy Shedders?

As you may have guessed, they do their fair share of shedding. Those thick double coats shed regularly throughout the year. However, as their gorgeous fur regulates their body temperature, keeping them both cool and warm, it's not recommended to shave them. Instead, daily brushing and regular grooming are needed to keep them comfortable. Despite requiring daily maintenance, they are excellent family pets and get along well with children and other animals, which makes any effort to manage their spectacular fluff worthwhile. These delightful dogs range in size from 35 to 65 pounds. However, their abundant fur often makes them look even more significant.

Pet parents were not surprised by these napping buddies. Viewer @doxiegirlz shared, "Our Samoyed used to let stray cats sleep on top of him." It's warm and cozy, so it's easy to understand that choice. Viewer @catsluvme revealed, "My Shih-Tzu would do this with our Samoyed. Something about that fluffy butt." It's hard to imagine a better place to snooze. Viewer @miss_amberlynne remarked, "Gah, the kind of sleep I can only hope for, lol." Ha! It sure seems like the perfect way to catch some Zs.

It appears a cuddly Samoyed is the perfect sibling for a miniature Dachshund. But even if we aren't 6 pounds, when winter arrives, we will all be wishing for a land cloud to snuggle with.
