The nation wept when Sam Frost sent favourite Richie Strahan home on The Bachelorette.
Sam struggled to hold back to tears as she sent home the third runner-up and chose professional athlete Michael instead to be in the finale.
Since the finale has aired, the 26-year-old explained to an Australian tabloid that she ultimately chose Michael because she didn't want to let Richie down.

The brunette admitted she didn’t want to 'take him through to the finale' as she would have 'struggled to let him down that way.'
She continued: 'It was better he left when he did.'
After Richie went home, Sam took Sasha and Michael to New Zealand for the series ending of The Bachelorette.
The pretty star went on to pick Sasha in a romantic end to the show, and the pair have been spotted together on numerous occasions since.
