The Sam’s Club Bakery Just Dropped a Massive New Dessert and Fans Are Obsessed

I’m a firm believer that you can always find a reason for cake. While birthdays and holidays may first come to mind, if you dig a little deeper, you can almost always find other reasons to celebrate. Hitting goals, cooking a fancy dinner that deserves a top-tier dessert finish, or maybe just because it’s a particularly nice day—these are all good reasons for a treat. At least, that’s what I tell myself when passing the Sam’s Club bakery section.

To be fair, the warehouse retailer’s shelves are always filled with irresistible goods. From its French Silk Pie to the New York Style Crumb Cake and seasonal cake balls, the members-only club is constantly upping the ante. Earlier this year the retailer added a massive candy-filled cupcake to its bakery selection, offering fans a budget-friendly confetti cake experience.

Now, a second massive cupcake is hitting shelves at Sam’s Club and it features one of the confectionery world’s most legendary duos.

Member’s Mark Colossal Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake

Sam’s Club has once again teamed up with “Cake Boss” star Buddy Valastro to bring customers another party-worthy creation. Member’s Mark Colossal Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes are now available at Sam’s Club locations nationwide. While its namesake is typically a handheld treat, this mega-sized dessert is fit to feed a crowd. Each colossal cupcake weighs over four pounds and can serve 16 to 20 guests—all for less than $20.

The layered giant cupcake features a rich chocolate cake base, velvety chocolate buttercream frosting, and is topped with chocolate sprinkles. What makes the cupcake stand out, however, is its flavored-filled core. Each cupcake is filled with a silky peanut butter mousse that adds the perfect amount of moisture to every bite.

In a recent Instagram post, @samsclublovers shared the treat with their followers and many were quick to chime in about their thoughts. “I just got this for my son’s birthday party and it was a huge hit! So so good!” said one fan.

"Lmao at serves 16 to 20 people," added someone else. "Not when I get ahold of it."

We get it. Chocolate and peanut butter are a match made in heaven, and if you need to celebrate a Reese’s lover in your life—or anyone else, for that matter—look no further than Sam’s Club for this showstopping cupcake.
