The latest television show from Ryan Murphy is set to premiere on Wednesday night with FX's new gruesome crime mystery Grotesquerie. Murphy, who has credits like Glee, 9-1-1, American Horror Story and the new Doctor Odyssey to his name, took to the purple carpet on Monday night to discuss everything about the new show.

Murphy had high praise for NFL star Travis Kelce, who has a role in his new drama. "He was the best," Murphy told E! News. "Travis, I always say this, but a star is a star is a star, and he's a star."

According to the Grotesquerie creator, the three-time Super Bowl champ was a pro on set, too. "He worked very hard," Murphy said. "He knew everybody's lines, he had great discipline and he is everything you want him to be."

Grotesquerie airs on September 25 at 10 p.m.
