Yahoo Lifestyle Russell Wilson Wants Baby No. 5—Ciara Reveals Where She Stands
For Ciara and Russell Wilson, having a fifth child is not out of the question—though the two might not be ready just yet to make that major life change.
The “1, 2 Step” singer was open to discussing the issue while guest hosting the fourth hour of the Today show alongside Jenna Bush Hager. Today with Jenna & Friends announced last week that Ciara would be stepping in to assume co-hosting duties on Wednesday, Jan. 29, and again on Friday, Jan. 31.
It was during the Wednesday show’s “Sip or Spill” segment that the topic of family planning surfaced. As Bush Hager explained while introducing the segment, Ciara had the option of either answering questions posed by the former first daughter or choosing instead to sip the alcoholic beverage placed on the table in front of her.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback came up as Bush Hager posed her second question. “We know from your Insta that your husband Russell wants baby cinco,” Bush Hager began. "Do you think y’all are gonna have baby No. 5?”

Ciara didn’t hesitate before beginning to nod her head. “I do,” she said.
“Let’s go!” Bush Hager cheered.
The Grammy Award winner quickly clarified that while she’s open to the idea, it’s one she is interested in pursuing “in a little bit of time.”
“My youngest is 1,” Ciara said, referring to daughter Amora, who was born Dec. 11, 2023. She then pointed out a “trend” in her family, “our babies are all three years apart.”
“I’m not saying that we’re going to follow that trend, but, you know,” Ciara said before jokingly noting, “If it’s up to Russ, you know, cinco is coming next month.”
Ciara, 39, and Wilson, 36, have been married since 2016. In addition to Amora, the two share daughter Sienna, 7, and son Win, 4. Ciara also has an older child, 10-year-old Future, from her previous relationship with the rapper of the same name.
