Rove McManus & Tasma Walton Welcome A Baby Girl

It's a girl for Rove & Tasma!

Rove McManus and wife Tasma Walton are celebrating an early Christmas gift after welcoming their first child, a daughter named Ruby Aurelia, two weeks ahead of Walton's January 2 due date.

The baby girl weighed a petite 2.47kg at birth.

In a statement, McManus said: "While she arrived slightly earlier than expected, she is healthy and more importantly it means she'll be here to spend Christmas with us, which is the best present you could wish for.

"I feel I have entered a new life that consists of mainly feeding and wiping. But I couldn't be happier," he said.

Walton added, "It's still hard to believe she's here. It was love at first sight. She is a beautiful, life-changing bundle."

The couple announced their pregnancy at the Toronto Film Festival in September, where Walton's growing baby bump was hard to conceal.

"I’m very happy and excited at the thought of being a mum. It’ll be a nice payoff for all this morning sickness, reflux and constipation," Walton revealed at the time.

McManus & Walton, who are based in Los Angeles, were married in 2009 in Broome, Western Australia.
