Ron began his career as a child actor on shows like The Andy Griffith Show and the beloved sitcom Happy Days, before he transitioned to directing and producing. He currently has a slew of future projects lined up, per his IMDB page, including serving as a producer on a Curious George film and as an executive producer on a Barbara Walters-focused documentary.

Bryce, meanwhile, has followed in her father's footsteps, starring in projects such as the Jurassic World film series, Spider-Man 3, Black Mirror and The Help, as well as directing a share of film and television series, including numerous shows set within the Star Wars universe.

While appearing together on a panel at MegaCon in Orlando, Fla., last month, Ron spoke about wanting to protect Bryce from the more complicated aspects of becoming a child actor when she began to "show a real aptitude" for performing when she was young.
