Congrats are in order for Gabby Windey and Robby Hoffman, who secretly wed in Las Vegas! The newlyweds exclusively broke the news with Cosmopolitan and let us in on their glorious and sweet love story. The couple decided to elope in Vegas when they drove away from the devastating Pacific Palisades fires in California.
“We had just evacuated from the fires. Literally cue Rihanna, ‘We found love in a hopeless place,’” Gabby told Cosmo. “What better time to get married than right now? Because if the world is ending, we want to be with each other.”
Gabby and Robby didn’t miss out on an incredibly romantic engagement, despite their decision to get married on a whim. Robby spelled out “Will you marry me Gabby?” in a customized crossword puzzle before presenting The Traitors star with a stunning Cartier sparkler.
Laura Taylor, a jeweler specializing in engagement and wedding rings at Lorel Diamonds, sent a statement to Cosmo with all the details on Gabby and Robby’s rings.
“From the images shared, which don’t show the rings in super close detail, Gabby’s engagement ring appears to feature two triangular-cut diamonds, possibly trillions, stacked vertically at the center,” Laura says. “Together, they likely total around 2 to 3 carats, creating a striking, symmetrical design that almost resembles a bowtie, adding a touch of Art Deco. These are flanked by baguette-cut diamonds, which enhance the structure and could add an additional 1 to 2 carats combined, making the design feel both unique and modern.”
She also shared some insight on the intricate design of Gabby’s ring, adding, “The bowtie-like design is a symbol of love and connection, almost like tying the knot in a very literal way, while the Art Deco style adds a sense of individuality, almost saying that their relationship is unlike any other and is perfect for Gabby.”
As for the price of Gabby’s sparkler, Laura estimates that it’s worth between a whopping $50,000 to $80,000, based on the quality and carat weight of the diamonds. She also estimated that the price of Robby’s ring could range between $2,000 to $5,000, saying,“It has a minimalist design with what seems to be a small diamond or a groove detailing, though it is possible that it is a reflection, making it a great everyday piece.”
