Rita Ora's mum Vera, 56, stuns in age-defying swimsuit snaps
Rita Ora, 29, certainly isn’t shy about sharing sexy snaps of her seemingly endless selection of bikinis on social media, and when you look that good, why not?
The pop star clearly takes after her mum, Vera Sahatçiu Ora, who at the age of 56 is happily rocking sizzling swimsuits that hug her incredible figure — again, if you’ve got it, flaunt it.
In late July, the mum-of-three sent her followers on her private Instagram account into a spin after posting a jaw-dropping photo of herself posing on the sand in a racy cut-out one-piece swimsuit.
“Little relaxing time during pandemic era!!! Stay safe (for many still needing to isolate), be comfortable with yourself and help others needing support!” she captioned the breathtaking pic.
The black, one-shouldered number by designer Kurt Geiger left a lot of skin on display, including Vera’s taut tummy.
“Looking in tip-top shape,” wrote one of her fans in the comments, while another added, “Mommy is on [fire emoji].”
In May, Vera posted a throwback pic of herself posing in a crimson one-piece while holidaying on the ritzy island of St. Barts.
Perched on the edge of what looks like a hot tub on a luxury boat, Vera put her shapely pins on display but kept her eyes hidden behind a pair of shades.
“Just going to pretend I am on vecation [sic] away from everything that is happening right now!” she captioned the photo, no doubt in reference to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
As a psychiatrist within the UK's National Health Service (NHS), Vera has been working on the front line during the outbreak, something which leaves her daughter Rita with mixed feelings.
“I speak to [Vera] every single day - probably twice a day. I am still very concerned and am tormented always worried about her, but there is just no stopping her,” the “How To Be Lonely” hit-maker told Heart Radio in May.
On July 6, Rita took to Instagram to share a photo of Vera in her blue hospital scrubs in celebration of the NHS’s 72nd birthday.
“So proud of you mum!!!” she wrote in the caption.

Back in December 2019, Vera and her husband, Besnik ‘Nick’ Sahatçiu Ora, were matching in white on the beach in St. Barts; him in swim trunks and her in another fantastic one-piece suit.
She highlighted her slim waist with a belt featuring a gold buckle — similar to the one on her red version — while the plunging neckline showed off some skin.
In 1991, the couple relocated to London from Kosovo (formerly Yugoslavia) due to the persecution of Albanians. Their last name, ‘Sahatçiu’ means ‘watchmaker’ in Turkish, and they later added ‘Ora’ (‘time’ in Albanian) as it’s easier to pronounce.
But the age-defying Mrs Ora doesn’t just walk around in swimsuits all day — she looks equally amazing in fun printed frocks and the sleek red carpet gowns she wears to A-list events with her daughter.
At a charity bash back in March, the mother-daughter duo were polar opposites when it came to their outfits, with Rita is a crisp white suit while Vera dabbled in the dark side with a black column gown.
Rita also brought her mum along to meet Prince Harry in June 2019, and by the looks of it Vera and the duke hit it off.
To meet the royal, Vera kept it classy in a black top with 3/4 length lace sleeves while Rita stayed true to her provocative pop star roots in a strapless mini dress.
