Richie Strahan is the new bachelor
Ex Bachelorette heartthrob Richie Strahan has been named as Season Four's newest Bachelor.
The 30-year-old came third in the first season of The Bachelorette, but was left broken-hearted when Sam Frost dumped him for Sasha Mielczarek and Michael Turnbull, who were the top two contestants.

'To be honest I couldn’t believe they called me up to ask,' the rope technician told news.com.au about starring in the next season of The Bachelor.
'I’m a very private person and it’s a really big decision to put yourself out in the public arena again. I found it really hard to open up on the Bachelorette last year, but the end decision was that (by doing the show) I could meet a girl who I could pretty much spend the rest of my life with. It’s a pretty big carrot.'

Richie has remained single since he appeared on The Bachelorette but has previously been romantically linked to Big Brother star Tully Smyth.
The reality star described to British tabloid Daily Mail what he was looking for in a woman.
'I like a girl that can make me laugh, but in these kinds of things generally, I'm the guy that's making her laugh... hopefully,' he spilled.

'I'm up for a girl with a really nice personality. If she's got a really beautiful personality, I've got no problems with what she looks like.'
He will follow in the footsteps of Tim Robards, Blake Garvey and Sam Wood, who all found love on the series.
