Ree Drummond's Daughter Alex Shares Photo of Brother Bryce ‘Finally’ Meeting His 4-Week-Old Niece Sofia Marie

Alex Drummond Scott's brother Bryce Drummond is officially on uncle duty.

On Sunday, Jan. 19, Alex, 27, shared photos on her Instagram Story of Bryce, 22, holding his 4-week-old niece Sofia Marie for the first time.

"Finally got to meet her uncle Bryce," Alex wrote on the first photo. She then uploaded a similar picture of Bryce holding his niece captioned with the text "FUNcle vibes."

On Wednesday, Dec. 18, Alex welcomed her daughter with her husband Mauricio Scott. The mom shared the exciting news on Instagram in a post that featured black-and-white photos of the couple with their baby.

"At 2:27am our perfect girl made her arrival a couple weeks early, just in time for Christmas! We are so in love and forever changed," the couple wrote in the caption. "Thank you Lord."

Alex's mom, Food Network star Ree Drummond, was excited to become a grandma. She marked the milestone with a post on her Pioneer Woman website, where she published a photo of herself cradling the newborn in her arms. The proud grandma called Sofia Marie "perfect."

"I'm saying that with as much objectivity as I can," Ree, 56, wrote. "But I'm not kidding...she is perfect. Like, if you looked up 'perfect' in Miriam Webster, it would reference Sofia Scott, and maybe even show a photo of her. Although that would probably technically be an encyclopedia."

In the post, Ree also wrote about the experience, sharing that Scott was so supportive of her daughter, she almost felt like she didn't need to be there.

"Alex did great, and so did Mauricio," Ree wrote. "We arrived in Dallas and got to see them in the hospital just as Alex was transitioning from latent to active labor, and it was so wonderful to see how much they love and support each other."

"Mauricio attended to Alex's every need, to the point that the rest of us questioned if we even needed to be there," she continued. "What a gift to Ladd and me, for Alex to have a partner in life who demonstrates love through such clear action."
