Ree Drummond Snaps ‘Incredible’ Photo of Storm Sweeping by Her Family’s Ranch

Ree Drummond may lead the role of The Pioneer Woman, but she's well on her way to becoming an amateur storm chaser, too.

On Thursday evening, the Food Network personality captured the vivid and vibrant scene of a massive storm system sweeping by her family's ranch in Oklahoma. In the image, a shadow of the 55-year-old celebrity chef was cast upon the reddish-orange hue saturating the fields before her. The recently passed storm clouds were still visible at the time Drummond headed outside, showing up at the right of the horizon while patchy skies and a colorful sunset tried to usher their way in from the left.

"Well…that was a storm," she simply captioned the Sept. 19 upload.

The "drama" of the cookbook author's "perfect" upload was impossible to overlook, with fans praising the photographer's eye in the comments.

"And that's one hell of a photo," one top-liked Instagram comment quipped.

"Oh my….now that’s a picture," a second wrote. "Drama. Beautiful ❤️."

"K…" a fourth added. "That is a perfect pic."

"Wow that's incredible," another gushed.

Others expressed a wave of emotion over the thunderstorm itself, especially those in areas that could use a little rain or people who relocated to regions that typically don't experience these weather patterns.

"I miss a good thunderstorm! We don’t get storms here on the central coast of California 🤷🏼‍♀️🤪," one confessed.

"Awesome Pic! We need some that in KC area," another wrote.

"Send it to Ohio!" someone else exclaimed. "We are in severe drought right now. I can’t even remember the last rain we had. Everything is dead. Creeks are dry."

"We needed it bad in Bixby!" a fourth added. "I didn't think it would come here but it did 🙌."
