Truth behind Travis Barker's rush to hospital revealed

Sources have revealed why Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker was rushed to hospital after he posted a cryptic post on Twitter.

The drummer and husband of Kourtney Kardashian was rushed to West Hills Hospital and Medical Centre before he was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in LA for an unknown illness.

Sources have since told TMZ the drummer had pancreatitis. Doctors believe his pancreas was inflamed following a colonoscopy.

The inflammation of the pancreas comes with an array of symptoms, including intense stomach pain, nausea and vomiting.

Kourtney was by his side as he was rushed to hospital and fans were concerned after Travis wrote the cryptic message, "God save me", on Twitter, the same name of a song he released with Machine Gun Kelly.

His daughter Alabama sparked more fears of something serious when she wrote, "Please send your prayers", on her Instagram Stories.

People reports doctors have put Travis on a modified diet to determine his condition and are focusing on managing his pain.

There was speculation Travis may have had Covid after Kourtney recently revealed she had tested positive for the second time.

It comes just a month after Travis and Kourtney got married for a third time. They first had an unofficial ceremony in Las Vegas, before they signed a marriage certificate in California.

Their third was a lavish event in Portofino, Italy, in May.

Travis escaped death in 2008 after he survived a fatal plane crash that killed four people.

In an interview with Men's Health last year, he revealed he went through three months of therapy to deal with posttraumatic stress disorder.

"I couldn't walk down the street. If I saw a plane [in the sky], I was determined it was going to crash, and I just didn't want to see it," he said.
