Reality TV Villains NeNe Leakes, Pauly D and More Front NYX Professional Makeup’s SFX Line Just in Time for Halloween

NYX Professional Makeup is introducing a limited-edition line of SFX makeup just in time for Halloween with the help of some of reality TV’s biggest stars. The cosmetics company launches a new SFX collection for the forthcoming holiday, with a campaign featuring “Real Housewives” alum NeNe Leakes as Poison Ivy, “Jersey Shore” star Pauly D as The Joker and more notorious villains.

The collection of SFX makeup is designed for easy use. NYX’s limited-edition line features the SFX face and body paint palettes, butter gloss metallics and SFX paint and body sticks in unique, vibrant colors.

Pieces from the collection can be applied to enhance the eyes, face and body. Bold colorblocking and precision application combine to create SFX illusion artistry ideal for a villainous makeup look.

The face and body paint features a smooth application, while the metallic gloss comes in blood and ice hues for a final touch.

NYX’s campaign for the limited-edition SFX collection features stars from reality TV shows like the “Love Island” franchise and more to showcase the makeup products capabilities.

Each reality TV star poses for the campaign as iconic supervillains and characters from the DC universe, “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Beetlejuice.”

The SFX makeup looks featured in the campaign were achieved using NYX’s new products, with makeup designed by celebrity makeup artist and SFX industry leader Mimi Cho.

Along with the campaign and limited-edition makeup collection NYX will also launch an interactive “Who Stole Halloween?” series. Beginning Oct. 1 on NYX’s official social media channels, the infamous reality TV stars feature in behind-the-scenes drama from the NYX Halloween campaign shoot.

Each episode from the social series will include clues viewers will have to watch out for in order to uncover the villain who stole Halloween.

Viewers can cast their vote for the chance to win exclusive prizes. Among the prizes, fans could win up to $10,000.
