Get Ready With Jasmine Tookes For the 2024 Paris Olympics

The model's Parisian-chic ensemble is worthy of gold.

After four long years, the much-awaited 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are in full swing. The sporting events have so far given way to history-making wins, viral internet moments, triumphant comebacks—and, of course, award-worthy style. Among the sea of A-list stars and fashion contenders attending the Olympics was the ever-elegant Jasmine Tookes.

For the model, the City of Light has an enduring allure. “Paris has an unmatched charm and elegance,” she says. Tookes has a penchant for exploring the metropolis, always looking for the next picturesque street, enchanting shop, and tasty French bite. To her, Paris is timeless, refined, and sophisticated.

Working with stylist Paige Amelung, Tookes’s goal for her trip was to put together an ensemble that “captured the Parisian-chic vibe,” and she nailed it beautifully. She chose a lovely black boatneck Reformation minidress, paired with a charming Veronica Beard striped jacket, a white Hermès Birkin, and David Yurman jewels—an epitome of classiness and beauty to pay homage to La Ville-Lumière.

"Paris has an unmatched charm and elegance. I love its rich history, beautiful architecture, and vibrant culture. Every corner of the city has a story to tell, and there's always something new to discover, whether it's a quaint café, a stunning museum, or simply a picturesque street."

Her Personal Style

"I like to say my style is timeless. I've always loved classic pieces that aren't necessarily trendy. I stick to neutral tones and always aim for a look that I won't look back on and think, 'What was I wearing?!'"

Today's Look

"I wanted something comfortable and stylish that captures the Parisian-chic vibe. I worked with one of my stylists, Paige Amelung, and she really nailed it. The dress is from Reformation, the jacket is Veronica Beard, the shoes are Loro Piana, and I'm carrying a Birkin bag from Hermès. I love the timeless elegance of each piece. The dress is simple yet flattering, the jacket adds a polished touch, and the flats are perfect for walking around Paris. It's the perfect blend of sophistication and ease."

"I'm wearing David Yurman bracelets and a Heaven Mayhem watch. I love how these pieces add a touch of elegance and sophistication to my look without being too overpowering."

"I did my own hair and makeup for this day. For daytime events, I prefer a more natural and true-to-me look, and doing it myself helps me achieve that."

Her Must-Visit Paris Hot Spots

"I always make time for a visit to Hermès for a leather bag appointment. For meals, I love having lunch at Lou Lou; it’s the perfect location just outside the Louvre. Dinner at Girafe is a must to enjoy a meal while watching the Eiffel Tower glisten from a distance. Lastly, L'Entrecôte de Paris is perfect for delicious steak and fries. This time, I also discovered a fantastic Japanese restaurant called Ojii. It was amazing!"

What She Thinks of the Olympics

"This is my first time attending the Olympics, and the experience has been absolutely incredible. The energy here is unlike anything I've ever felt before. It's amazing to see athletes from all over the world come together to compete at the highest level in their sports. The dedication and hard work they put in is truly inspiring. I'm already looking forward to the next Olympics in Los Angeles."

Game She Was Most Excited For

"Gymnastics! I used to be a gymnast, so I really understand and appreciate the strength and determination it takes. Huge congrats to Simone Biles!"
