ABC | Leading out of two hours’ worth of reruns, Judge Steve Harvey (1.5 mil/0.2) was down in audience yet up in the demo.

FOX | The Masked Singer (3.3 mil/0.4) returned down from its fall season averages; read recap. Animal Control (1.6 mil/0.2) returned to a bigger audience than its freshman average (1.3 mil), now that it has something actually resembling a lead-in. Family Guy christened its brand-new night with 919,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating, which is up a bit in audience vs. last season’s post-football average (893K) but down a tick in the demo. (A previous version of this blurb compared Family Guy to this past fall’s audience, which I remembered is NFL-inflated and thus an unfair comp.)
THE CW | Wild Cards (605K) swelled to a season high in audience; Family Law (457K) was also up sharply.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in TVLine’s daily-ish ratings column do NOT reflect a television program’s overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless specifically denoted in bold as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives. Steve Harvey is not a judge or lawyer and merely offers an alternative forum of dispute resolution.
