Queen Camilla Favors Pinstripes in Skirt Suit as She Officially Opens New School in London

Queen Camilla reinvigorated her royal wardrobe with a fresh look, which she’d not worn in nearly one year, for an engagement on Tuesday in London. The queen consort officially opened the Mulberry Academy London Dock, a secondary school that is part of the Mulberry Schools Trust family of schools.

For the occasion, Queen Camilla wore a pinstripe skirt suit look. Her attire for the daytime outing featured a black base fabric with thin white pinstripes throughout. The ensemble consisted of a jacket and skirt.

The jacket featured long sleeves, three buttons running down the front placket, pockets and a sharp collar. The coat also included a slightly cinched waist for added definition to Queen Camilla’s silhouette. Her skirt included the same motif with a straight, flowing cut.

As for accessories, Queen Camilla added a small brooch to the collar of her jacket, wore black leather gloves and completed the look with black boots, sans heel. She also wore her signature jewelry pieces, including bracelets courtesy of Van Cleef & Arpels.

The queen consort previously wore this look in February 2024 for the Thanksgiving Service for King Constantine of the Hellenes at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Royal rewears are a hot trend as of late for several royals. Kate Middleton recently rewore a Zara houndstooth dress during a visit to Wales last month, a look she’s worn several times dating back to 2020.

Queen Letizia of Spain is the latest royal to don a rewear from her royal wardrobe. During an event for World Cancer Day on Tuesday, the Spanish royal wore an emerald green dress by Dándara with raglan sleeves. She previously wore the dress in November 2023 and February 2024.
