Qualifying Results SMX World Championship Las Vegas

The final qualifying sessions of the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship are complete. Now it's time to go racing!

The 250 World All-Stars were the first riders out on track this afternoon. Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing's Cole Davies from New Zealand took the top spot ahead of Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Drew Adams and his teammate Caden Dudney.

During the first qualifying session for the 250SMX division, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing's and championship points leader Haiden Deegan took the top qualifying time ahead of Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Gas Gas's Ryder DiFrancesco and Team Honda HRC Progressives Jo Shimoda. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's second in points, Tom Vialle, followed Deegan throughout the session. Both riders nearly hit exiting one of the corners where both lines came together.

On the final lap, the 450SMX Qualifying 1 was topped by Team Honda HRC Progressives and championship points leader Hunter Lawrence. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Chase Sexton held the top spot for some time until Hunter took it away, then Jett Lawrence in 3rd.

In the second 250SMX qualifying session, Deegan was back on top. The track is starting to fade a little bit and becoming slick, especially on the Supercross section. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Julien Beaumer was only .050 tenths off Deegan's time, and DiFrancesco rounds out the top three ahead of the night show.

In the second session for the 450SMX division, Jett Lawrence put down a blistering time and then again on the last lap to better his time at the top. Hunter Lawrence in the second place spot, and Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing's Eli Tomac in 3rd ahead of tonight's two motos.

The last riders out on track for qualifying are the 250 World All-Stars, and Cole Davies is at the top on the final lap, putting in a heater. Adams in 2nd and Caden Dudney rounds out the top 3.
