Princess Diana’s nieces Lady Kitty Spencer, Lady Eliza Spencer and Lady Amelia Spencer supported their cousin, Prince William, at a cause close to his heart last week.

The three Spencer sisters — the daughters of Diana’s brother Charles Spencer and his first wife, Victoria Lockwood — stepped out in support of the Prince of Wales, 42, as he gave remarks and presented awards at Oct. 16’s Centrepoint Awards in London. Like William, Kitty, 33, is a supporter of the charity, having served as an ambassador for Centrepoint for eight years. (Centrepoint provides accommodation and support to people experiencing homelessness between the ages of 16 and 25.)

“I’m extremely proud of my cousin Prince William for all that he does and continues to do to support Centrepoint and the vital work they provide to homeless young people,” Kitty told Hello! in a new interview.

“His dedication to Centrepoint throughout the years has been unwavering, and his efforts have made a significant impact in raising awareness and driving positive change for those in need,” she added. “Seeing my cousin’s commitment firsthand inspires me deeply and reinforces the importance of our shared mission.”

The “transformative” Centrepoint Awards are meaningful to her, she told the outlet, because they are a “celebration of resilience, hope and transformation, showcasing the incredible journeys of young people who have overcome homelessness and adversity.”

At the awards ceremony, Kitty — wearing Dolce & Gabbana — presented an award. Since beginning her work with Centrepoint in 2016, she has taken part in “sleep outs” with friends and assisted Prince William with fundraisers for the organization at Kensington Palace, Tatler reported.

“I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact that Centrepoint’s support can have, turning lives around and providing a pathway to a brighter future,” Kitty said. “Each story shared at the awards is a testament to the strength and potential within every young person, reminding me why I am so passionate about this cause.”

Kitty shares that passion with both her cousin Prince William and her aunt, Princess Diana, who was patron of Centrepoint and used to take both of her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, to homeless shelters when they were young boys.

Prince William has been patron of Centrepoint since 2005 — one of the first patronages he took on when he was just 23 years old. Eradicating homelessness has been a cause that William has passionately gotten behind, creating the Homewards initiative in June 2023 through the foundation he shares with wife Kate Middleton to work towards ending homelessness through a five-year plan. The Prince of Wales will appear in a docuseries, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, that takes viewers through Homewards’ first year.

“I think it’s really important that we can try and change, and tackle, the narrative around homelessness,” Prince William said. “People live with it, we see it every day in our lives — that’s something I want to challenge.”

The two-part documentary airs on both Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 on ITV.

Earlier this year, Kitty shared that she was a new mom in an Instagram post marking Mother’s Day in the U.K. back in March.

“It’s the joy of my life to be your mummy, little one. I love you unconditionally,” Kitty captioned the post. “Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate today.”

The announcement featured a video compilation of photos, beginning with two pictures of Kitty holding her baby — whose name was later revealed to be Athena — on the beach while wearing a white swimsuit and white shirt draped off her shoulders. Meanwhile, another sweet snap showed Kitty holding her little one’s hand in the palm of her own.

“The most perfect angel in the world,” Kitty’s younger sister, Amelia, 31, wrote in the comments section. Amelia’s twin sister Eliza added, “My perfect little Niece,” confirming to the world at the time that the new addition to the family is a baby girl.
