Within hours of Prince Louis’ 1st birthday pictures being released, his $64 blue dog jumper had completely sold out.

The photos were taken at their home in Norfolk by his mother, the Duchess Of Cambridge. A selection of images were released, but the one of him in his Trotters jumper stole the show.

The jumper was originally priced at $80 but it was on sale for $64 yesterday.

Royal fashion followers are still desperate to get their hands on the jumper after it sold out within hours of the images being released. The website promises “more arriving soon” on the link to buy it.

He wore the jumper, which is embroidered with a brown and white dog, over a lightly checked white and light blue shirt.

The website describes the garment as their “best selling” jumper. It’s made of a cashmere mix and is a “must have for layering this spring”.

There’s also a light pink version of the jumper available, as well as similar styles with differing designs on the front.

In the other images of Prince Louis, he was dressed in a chunky red jumper with tortoiseshell buttons lining the shoulder.

The eagle-eyed amongst us might recognise his peter-pan collar as similar – if not the same – as the one Prince George wore for his 2014 Plunket playdate in New Zealand.

This wouldn’t be the first time that the Duchess of Cambridge has recycled clothes for both herself and her children. Back in 2016, Princess Charlotte wore a hand-me-down cardigan from her brother, Prince George.

It’s also not the first time that she has dressed them with clothing from high-street stores. Much like the jumper from Trotters, Kate’s high-street steals usually sell out instantly.
