Pregnant Lea Michele Reawakens Maternity Dressing in Bold Blue Rodarte Dress at Met Gala 2024

Lea Michele arrived at the Met Gala 2024 celebrating “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday in New York City in a bold blue look from Rodarte.

The “Funny Girl” actress walked the red carpet in a floor-length gown constructed from two complementary shades of aquamarine satin and finished with an exaggerated tulle train in the same bright blue hue. Additionally, the neckline of Michele’s dress was designed with a series of thinly cut straps, each adorned with a train of three-dimensional white flower appliques.

The dress’ use of airy textiles and youthful colorways is reminiscent of Rodarte’s fall 2022 ready-to-wear collection. Within the line, the brand presented several ethereal silhouettes constructed from tulle, satin and lace, finished with traditionally feminine design details such as bows, flowers and feathers.

The star styled her long dark tresses in a loose wave pattern and kept the length cascading behind her shoulders in a sharp middle part. For her makeup, Michele drew from the small patch of pink coloring inside each flower, shading her eyes and painting her lips with a rich rosey pigment.

Michele was dressed by longtime stylist Brian Meller who worked with the star this time last year for the Met Gala 2023. For the occasion, Michele wore a custom crystal-adorned dress from Michael Kors, styled with a blunt bob hairstyle and matching silver eye makeup.

After recently announcing her second pregnancy on Instagram, the star has been spotted at events, premieres and parties in fashions that showcase her growing baby bump. In April of this year, the star attended the Hope Rising Benefit 2024 in New York in a fiery red Michael Kors Collection dress from the brand’s spring 2023 ready-to-wear collection.
