Get Active During Pregnancy

Get moving! Staying fit and healthy during pregnancy is as great
for you as it is for bub, with new findings from US researchers at the Kansas City University of Medicine revealing exercise during pregnancy can improve your child’s heart health after birth.

Research by the same team in 2008 found that pregnant ladies who exercised for at least half an hour, three days a week had foetuses with lower heart rates (a sign of good heart health).

Now the team’s new research has revealed that the bubbas’ improved ‘cardiovascular control’ lasts for at least one month after birth, indicating a mum’s healthy efforts can have lasting effects.
