Pete Davidson Sports Cool Leather Jacket and Rocks Buzzcut for First Red Carpet Appearance in Over a Year
The comedian made a rare public appearance in support of his friend John Mulaney at the N.Y.C. gala celebrating 'All In: Comedy About Love'
Pete Davidson stepped out in style for his first red carpet appearance since 2023.
On Monday, Dec. 16, the former Saturday Night Live star attended a gala celebrating the opening night of All In: Comedy About Love on Broadway. The show currently stars Davidson's longtime friend John Mulaney along with Renée Elise Goldsberry, Richard Kind and SNL's Fred Armisen.
For the outing, the Bodies Bodies Bodies actor, 31, wore a cool outfit consisting of a burnt red leather jacket that he left unzipped to showcase his plain black shirt and pendant necklace. He paired the statement outwear with black trousers and cream lace-up shoes.
He also sported a new buzzed hairstyle shorter than his signature crew cut.
In a video captured by PEOPLE at the event, Davidson can be seen smiling and giving a thumbs-up for the cameras.

The star-studded gala, also attended by Olivia Munn, David Letterman, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, Jon Hamm, Tom Hanks and Martin Short, marks Davidson’s first red carpet appearance since last year.
On June 5, 2023, he went to the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts premiere in Brooklyn, N.Y., dressed in a royal blue velour sweatsuit themed to the film, for which he voiced the character Mirage.
It also comes nearly two months after he was spotted during an event at the Intuit Dome wearing an outfit that showed off his near-inkless arms amid his tattoo removal journey.

“I got hit on the face with the Hollywood shovel,” he told the outlet. “It was a long time coming, and I needed it. I’m very happy where I am right now, mentally."
“I just want to be known for doing good work,” he added. “I want to be out there only when it’s [a] movie, stand-up, charity, or business ventures. That’s when I want to be seen. I don’t want to be this f---ing loser who just dates people. That’s not who I am.”
