Luggage
Now that holidays are back on the agenda, they can travel in style with a personalised suitcase.
Zazzel has a wide range of customisable luggage that’s currently 15 percent off and includes plenty of options that won’t be missed on the airport baggage carousel.
This Harry Potter themed design is covered in Hedwigs and Gryffindor scarves, while this monogrammed case is all business.
July also does personalised suitcases and weekender bags although its options are more pared back and only include initials or a name.
Letter jewellery
If you’ve left gifting to the last minute but are still keen on something personalised, initial jewellery is a great option.
You can go for their own initial or that of a loved one that they can wear close to their heart in a pretty gold necklace like this $159 one from Avant Studio.
New mums might like the initial of their baby alla Meghan Markle who wore a little gold ‘A’ necklace after the birth of son Archie.
Back when she and Prince Harry were still dating, the former Duchess of Sussex was also seen out and about wearing a ring with the letter ‘H’, so you can consider initialed jewellery as royally approved.
The initial necklaces from Avant Studio can be ordered through The Iconic which has a pretty tight turn around for shipping but check your address here to make sure you can get it in time for Christmas.
Children’s books
Clothes and books are always a safe gift for kids as they’re always growing out of the ones they already have.
A personalised book is extra fun and lets kids see themselves as the protagonist of the adventure. You can weave their name into the story and design the main character to look just like them.
Wonderbly has customisable children’s books for kids aged 0 to 12 starting at $50 each. Order before December 14 to get it in time for Christmas.
Cricut
This gift is more about personalising than being personalised itself. A Cricut is a precision cutting machine that lets you personalise just about anything from clothes to cards, wall decals and drink bottles.
It’s a great gift for someone creative - or for yourself if you want to give your loved ones DIY personalised gifts - but the Cricut really comes into its own for event planning as you can use it to create custom invites, welcome signs, seating charts, coasters, goodie bags, cake toppers and even a paper flower wall.
Cricut machines come in three different sizes, the entry level Joy which is great for mini projects, or the bigger Explore Air and Maker models. Kogan is currently selling the Maker for $537 instead of the usual $649 with free shipping.
Phone case
It goes literally everywhere with you so why not jazz up their phone with a special, personalised case?
Adding a name or monogram always looks nice, but Casetify also has a cool function that lets you upload photos and create a collage that’s then printed onto a phone case.
So if they have a favourite person, pet or thing, they can carry them around wherever you go - or you could give the gift of your own smiling face to someone special.
These guys are international however, so you’ll need to order your personalised case before Thursday December 9 with express shipping to get it in time for Christmas.
For something more local, tde does phone cases personalised with names or initials with prices starting from $50 for the simplest monogrammed case, and this week there’s 25 percent off with the code ‘TDETECH’.
