People Have Spotted Lady Gaga’s Reaction To Trevor Noah’s Unfortunate Illegal Immigrant Joke At The Grammys, And It’s Super Awkward
Trevor Noah has hosted the Grammys five consecutive times, and at this year’s ceremony on Sunday night, he joked that it could be the last time he’s allowed to host anything in the US ever again.
And while it was a jab at how he’s an immigrant under the Trump administration, Trevor's jokes were not well received by several viewers at home, and some audience members.
Most notably, people noticed Doechii’s lethal eye roll when Trevor joked that the people who vote for the Grammy winners are “13,000 members of the Recording Academy and 20 million illegal immigrants.”
And now, people have spotted another celebrity seemingly cringing at the quip.
Gaga and Doechii were not having that joke. Gaga shaking her head, her fiancé looking at her then scanning the room to see who laughed, Doechii rolling her eyes 😭😭 pic.twitter.com/SqxT5gacDy

In this clip from the Grammys stream, Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, are seen sitting behind Trevor. And as Trevor delivers the joke, Gaga shakes her head and then glances at Michael.
And IDK about you, but I feel like that’s definitely a “debrief later” look.
But listen — Doechii’s eye roll and Gaga’s side eye could totally be directed at the Trump administration’s anti-immigrant rhetoric rather than Trevor himself. I know I roll my eyes every time I hear about it.
I also know, however, that if Gaga ever shook her head at me, I’d probably never show my face in public again.
