People Are Sharing Where The "It" Kid From High School Ended Up, And Some Of These Are Not What I Was Expecting

Whether you thrived in high school or couldn't wait to graduate, you probably remember "that kid" in your class who seemed to have it all. So redditor u/Agitated-Quit-6148 asked, "What happened to the good-looking ultra-popular kids that had it all in high school?" Here's what people said (including some responses from members of the BuzzFeed Community).

."Married his high school sweetheart, had three kids, and just got hired as a new orthopedic surgeon at a local hospital. Mad kudos to him because not only was he popular, but he was a very nice person and wasn't stuck up like most of the other rich kids."

."The most popular guy went to MIT and eventually was disowned by his parents for coming out as gay. He was popular for being smart, charismatic, and a genuinely good guy. He and his husband are doing well for themselves nowadays."

."The very beautiful, popular girl in my grade dropped contact with pretty much everyone and moved to South Africa, where she seems to live a fairly luxurious life now. Pretty cool move, if you ask me."

."She went on to become a world traveler and Buddhist and now runs a nonprofit providing micro-loans to female-owned global businesses. She was also my first crush."

."The guys who were popular but dicks went downhill after high school. One guy was the captain of our football, basketball, and baseball teams. He was the nicest guy ever, got along with everyone, and went out of his way to be a good person. He's in the MLB and crushing it now."

."He went to Harvard. Works in finance and married a stunningly beautiful woman who works for Google. They live in London. I’m not jealous of much in life, but this guy really got it all."

."Prom king and queen got married shortly after high school. Forty years later, they live within five miles of the farms where they grew up. They made some athletic, attractive kids along the way."

."The most popular girl in my graduating class (and I do mean most popular; she made an effort to make friends with everyone) was also the head cheerleader. She is now the head director at the local homeless shelter. She never got married, has no kids, and is now 37. She's still an absolute babe."

."He was known for being the funniest kid in school. He was on the football team. He won Homecoming King our senior year of high school. He committed suicide 10 months after we graduated high school. I can't describe how hard it was. It shows that you may THINK you know someone, but we all struggle internally. Never judge someone based off of how 'easy' you think someone else may have it."

."The most popular person I went to high school with is an activist for BIPOC, the LGBTQ+ community, and countless other causes. They are married, have their first child, work as a professor, and live in one of the greatest cities in the world. They deserve all their success because they were popular in high school, so kind and caring, and truly made every person feel special."

."She's somehow continuing to do the same things she did in high school. She goes out to the same cafes, hangs out with the same people, and wears the same style of clothes, only now instead of going to school, she's working in a bar."

."The girl who, in my opinion, was the prettiest and most popular girl in my high school class fell in with the wrong crowd after graduating and sadly passed from an overdose. All her friends while in school were relatively good girls. She was nice, and I still feel bad about how things happened for her."

."One of them made it halfway through American Idol before being eliminated, and another went on to dance as a background dancer on Dancing with the Stars. I only knew because I saw them on TV."
