People go crazy for Kmart’s clever $39 footstool

If you’ve ever had friends announce they were swinging by last minute and you’ve done the mad scramble to try and clean up everything lying around your lounge room, then this nifty piece of furniture is for you.

It’s a simple yet super clever storage footstool, available at everyone’s favourite bargain store Kmart.

And people are loving it.

From lego, to magazines, and throw rugs, it can hide it all.

The ‘Anko Round Footstool with Storage’ comes in grey, as well as a new beige tone.

Even dedicated Kmart enthusiasts have been sharing their ottoman love online.

Popular Instagram account The Kmart Lover has received “stacks of questions” about the ottoman after sharing an image on her account.

“It is sturdy, practical and pretty. Whether you fill with throw rugs, books or kids toys it is the perfect accessory to your home,” founder Claire wrote.

And others are racing to their nearest store to get their hands on one for their own homes.

“I don’t even have my own couch but if I did, I’d buy so many of these,” one person wrote on Facebook.

“I feel like we need this…. it would look good and would hide toys,” another added.

“How good would this be for a toy storage in the lounge room?” was another comment.
