Yahoo Lifestyle Patrick Schwarzenegger Just Spilled on His 'White Lotus' Nude Scene
We're just one episode into the new season of The White Lotus, and we've already been given a nude scene. The location may change (this time it's Thailand), the cast may be switched up (hello Aimee Lou Wood), but we can always count on series creator Mike White for a shocking nude moment with a twist to get us heavily invested in the season. And—slight spoilers ahead—this time around, it's Patrick Schwarzenegger's character Saxon Ratliff stark naked in his hotel room.
The NSFW scene happens towards the end of the first episode. Saxon and his family, which includes parents Timothy (Jason Isaacs) and Victoria (Parker Posey) and younger siblings Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola), arrive earlier in the day aboard The White Lotus boat and check into the hotel.
After failing to pull any of the women in the hotel, at the end of the night Saxon goes to masturbate in the bathroom, after discussing porn with his younger brother in the bedroom they're sharing. Saxon gets up from the bed and we (and younger brother Lochlan) see him completely naked as he heads into the bathroom.
And now Patrick has opened up about filming the scene, telling Esquire he didn't use a body double and the butt we see in the show is completely his own.
"Yes, that's my real butt." he revealed to the publication. "No stand-in. Once I read the script, I knew what was coming, but before that, I didn't."
Patrick's dad, the Arnold Schwarzenegger, has also commented on the nude moment and revealed he wasn't actually that surprised by the scene.
Writing on Instagram ahead of the season's release, Arnold shared a photo with his son from the red carpet of the premiere, and wrote: "I was so pumped to take a break from filming to celebrate @patrickschwarzenegger at the White Lotus Season 3 premiere. What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say - the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Don’t miss it this Sunday - trust me."
Of course this isn't the first time we've seen nudity in The White Lotus, and usually the scene is an indicator of things to come. In season one we saw Steve Zahn's character, Mark Mossbacher reveal his swollen testicles and last season we saw Theo James's character Eddie strip off in Harper and Ethan's bathroom.
With nine more episodes to go, is another nude appearance on the table?
