'Parks and Recreation' Fans 'Happy Cry' Over Surprise Cast Reunion Photos
Multiple cast members from Parks and Recreation just made an unexpected reunion on the red carpet—and their fans are freaking out.
It was during the special launch event for Marvel Television's Agatha All Along in Hollywood on Monday, Sept. 16, when fans were delighted to see some of the gang from Pawnee, Indiana, back together again.
The new Marvel miniseries stars not one but two Parks and Rec alums: Aubrey Plaza and Kathryn Hahn, who plays the role of the titular character Agatha Harkness.
Plaza and Hahn were supported by a couple of former co-stars during Monday's red carpet event, which was also attended by Parks and Rec favorites Amy Poehler and Adam Scott, the actors who played Leslie Knope and Ben Wyatt, respectively, on the hit sitcom.
And it's safe to say fans were losing it over the surprise reunion.
"Parks and Rec family forever," one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter) after seeing the joyful photos of the former co-stars back in the same room again.
"Any PnR reunion is a good reason to happy cry," someone else wrote in response.
"MY HEART IS SO FULL" another user chimed in.
In a video showing Plaza, 40, being flanked by pals Poehler, 53 and Scott, 51, one X user referred to the trio as their character names, writing, "leslie and ben supporting april means everything to me."
"#PawneeForever" another emotional fan quipped.
Someone else said, "this just fully made my day and I hope it makes you guys happy too."
Parks and Rec ran from 2009 to 2015, famously starring Poehler, Scott, Plaza, Hahn and several other big names, including Rashida Jones, Jim O'Heir, Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt, Retta and many others.
Hahn, who played Jennifer Barkley on the hit show, is now switching gears for the new action series on Disney+, Agatha All Along, which officially premieres on the streaming platform on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
