Paris Hilton’s Ex Has Police Altercation While Shoeless, ‘Foaming at the Mouth’: Report
Chris Zylka, the actor and model who was once engaged to Paris Hilton, is facing felony charges in the wake of an altercation with police in Ohio earlier this month, according to multiple media reports.
Authorities were called in after a man later identified as Zylka was described as trying to gain access to people’s vehicles while standing on a busy street in Warren, Ohio, according to People. Citing a copy of the Warren Police Department’s incident report, the magazine reported that Zylka was “foaming at the mouth” and was thought to be in “some sort of excited delirium state” as the incident unfolded in the afternoon on Dec. 4.

Zylka, 39, was allegedly not wearing shoes or a shirt at the time, according to WKBN-TV, a Youngstown-based news station. The weather was reported to be near freezing as the incident unfolded.
Police body camera footage shared by WKBN-TV showed police struggling to contain the man said to be Zylka. Three officers ultimately helped handcuff Zylka, and a taser and ketamine were also allegedly used to “subdue” the actor, People reported.
Following the incident last week, Zylka is reportedly facing felony charges of assault and attempt to commit an offense. He is also facing misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and aggravated menacing, according to WKBN-TV.
Parade reached out to the Warren Police Department for comment by email on Friday, Dec. 13.
Zylka, who starred in The Leftovers and The Secret Circle, was engaged to Hilton, 43, back in 2018. The two ended their relationship in November of that year, after which the hotel heiress began dating Carter Reum. The Secret Life alum and Reum tied the knot in 2021 and now share two children: Phoenix, who turns 2 in January, and London, who turned 1 last month.
