The bakery chain announced March 11 that their smash-hit bread bowls would turn shamrock green for the lucky holiday. Filled with its equally popular macaroni & cheese, Panera is calling this creation "the Pot of Gold."

Panera's Pot of Gold.The Pot of Gold will be available on March 16 and 17 in select locations, including New York City, Boston, Chicago and St. Louis, a press release stated. Additionally, MyPanera members can get $2 off any size order of mac & cheese on the same days.
Panera is taking it one step further this St. Patrick's day, and giving customers a real chance to try their luck with their Panera Pot of Gold Sweepstakes. The stakes are high: the winner gets free Panera mac & cheese for a year. To enter, text LUCKY to #31261 between March 16 and March 21.

Krispy Kreme — which dyed its classic glazed doughnuts Grinch green for Christmas — introduced four new doughnuts for St. Patrick's Day.
Its Pot of Gold Doughnut has caramel icing, caramel buttercream and glittery sprinkles, while its St. Patty's Swirl Doughnut is dipped in white and green icing and covered in white and gold sugar. The Over the Rainbow Doughnut is an unglazed cake doughnut with green icing, shamrock sprinkles and a rainbow, and the Choco-Shenanigans Doughnut is a cream-filled unglazed treat dipped in chocolate icing, with green icing decor and gold sprinkles.
Burger King is also running a St. Patrick's Day special: free onion rings, of any size, with the purchase of $1 or more. Customers can snag the deal by making a Royal Perks account and claiming the offer in the app or online.
