Pamela Anderson Takes Makeup-Free Journey to the Next Level with Sonsie Skin Partnership
The beauty icon is the co-founder of the vegan and cruelty-free beauty company
Pamela Anderson has been making her mark in the beautiful world, and now she’s taking her influence in the space a step further.
In her weekly journal, Arcady, Anderson announced that she’s taken ownership of emerging cruelty-free and vegan skincare company Sonsie.
Anderson, 56, went into detail in her “Inner Beauty” entry.
“I'm thrilled to share with you, a labor of love,” the newly minted co-founder shared.
The partnership “came about organically while [Anderson's 26-year-old son] Dylan's long-time girlfriend introduced me to her dear friend Marie [von Behrens-Felipe], a young new mom, with a beauty and fashion industry background who wanted to create simple no-nonsense skincare products that fit her busy schedule [so she could put] her new family first,” Anderson says.
The simple routine von Behrens-Felipe set about creating resonated with Anderson and her current beauty needs.
She cited the desire to have a system that’s “easy” that “everyone could love and use” and “doesn't promise anything un-realistic.”

Anderson also reveals that she’s been using the minimalist skincare for a year as fans witnessed her ditch makeup and show off her natural glow on red carpets and runways around the world.
The Love, Pamela author called going makeup-free "freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too." And with Sonsie, she's had wonderful results inside and out.

“I recognize myself again and have more confidence than ever – and it wasn't about trying to look younger. It was being okay with who I am and what I look like with or without makeup. It was an experiment maybe, but I did so to prove something to myself … and as a bonus I'm so glad it resonated with others.”
She continues: “I feel good in my skin. I want you to as well.”
