Pamela Anderson Embraces Drama in Birdcage Veil With Structured Suiting at the Christian Dior Couture Show at Paris Fashion Week
Pamela Anderson joined a bevy of A-list guests and high-profile stars in the front row for the Christian Dior spring couture 2025 collection show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday. “The Last Showgirl” star gravitated toward muted tones with a splash of drama, thanks to one of her retro-inspired accessories.
For the fashion show, Anderson opted for a gray look that put a structured spin on suiting. The actress wore a monochrome gray, wool look featuring wide-leg trousers and a coordinated draped jacket with long sleeves.

Forgoing the traditional front placket buttons, Anderson’s jacket featured a draped style, with fabric overlaying itself, giving a wrap-effect. Anderson added a black skinny belt at her waist for an added touch of definition to the ensemble. She also wore black pointed toe shoes.
Favoring minimal-to-no jewelry pieces, Anderson accessorized with a thick black headband attached to a black birdcage veil. The piece added a touch of drama to Anderson’s look and harkened back to the style from decades before.
Birdcage veils gained prominence in the 1940s during and following World War II when fabric shortages were widespread. Longer veils for weddings were often replaced with the style. In the 1950s and 1960s, the trend gained newfound prominence as an added decoration to pillbox hats, associated with glamour more so than frugality.
Throughout her time promoting her film “The Last Showgirl,” Anderson has, on a few occasions, gravitated toward Dior’s subdued styles. At the Golden Globe Awards Golden Eve celebration on Jan. 4, Anderson styled a selection from Dior’s spring 2025 collection, which included of a belted black off-the-shoulder trenchcoat dress and leather opera-length gloves.
Anderson was joined by such high-profile stars as Elizabeth Debicki, Naomi Scott, Alexandra Daddario and Anya Taylor-Joy at the Dior couture spring 2025 show.
