Oscars 2023: All the best looks from the red carpet

The stars are arriving at the Oscars 2023 red carpet and are showing off some incredible looks for Hollywood's night of nights at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

The 95th Academy Awards ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, with predictions Everything Everywhere All At Once will take out Best Picture, its lead actress Michelle Yeoh to take out Best Lead Actress and The Whale's Brendan Fraser to take out Best Lead Actor.

But best dressed on the red carpet is anyone's to take!

Nicole Kidman

Aussie star Nicole Kidman looked incredible in her black Armani gown, with the star engaging in some PDA with husband Keith Urban.

Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett is nominated for Best Lead Actress for her performance in Tár, with the star stunning with her blue and black look on the carpet.

Rihanna

Rihanna was one of the most highly anticipated red carpet arrivals, with the singer nominated for Best Original Song. The star, who looked incredible, will also be performing at the show.

Florence Pugh

Florence Pugh looked gorgeous in Valentino on the red carpet, but the star shared with her followers earlier in the day that she had a pimple pop up on her face before she started getting glam for the big day. She described her look as 'punk', adding she was loving her shorts.

Ana de Armas

Ana de Armas is the first Cuban actress to be nominated for Best Lead Actress for her performance in Blonde. The star looked stunning in her Louis Vuitton gown, which she described as looking like 'drops of rain' and making her feel like a 'mermaid'.

Angela Bassett

Angela Bassett certainly was doing the thing in her purple Jeremy Scott gown, the star is the first actress to be nominated for an Oscar for a Marvel film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Michelle Yeoh

Michelle Yeoh is the predicted winner of the Best Lead Actress award for her performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once and looked incredible in her bespoke Christian Dior Couture gown.

Austin Butler is nominated for Best Actor for his performance in Elvis, the star looked dapper in a double-breasted velvet Saint Laurent tuxedo.

Lady Gaga is nominated for Best Original Song for her Top Gun: Maverick track 'Hold My Hand', with the singer looking incredible in Versace.

The one-shouldered gown was cinched across her right shoulder in a floral rosette, and she showed off her figure with a racy thigh-high slit. Going for an old Hollywood glamour look, she kept her hair slicked back in a tight bun and accessorised with a dazzling diamond necklace.

Zoe Saldaña

The star is here to support Best Picture nominee Avatar: The Way of Water, and chose a white Fendi dress covered with interesting lace details. She kept her hair down and finished her look off with a simple white clutch, a diamond necklace and matching drop earrings.

Jessica Chastain had fans saying she looked like Jessica Rabbit on the red carpet in her gorgeous silver, sequinned gown.

Emily Blunt

Oscar-award winner Jennifer Connelly looked striking in her black off-the-shoulder dress. The stunning gown hugged her figure tightly with fabric trailing down over her arms. The jewelled piece attached to the top of her dress gave a halter-like feel in lieu of a diamond necklace.
