Among the streams of compliments, fans pointed their attention to the new author’s youthful complexion and trademark dark hair.
“You look stunning, such a healthy glow about you,” wrote one supportive follower.
Wow, you look amazing,” added another.
“It’s honestly so good to see you back on Australian soil…looking amazing too.”
Other feedback included the Queenslander being called a ‘pretty lady’, ‘attractive’ and ‘beautiful’.
Schapelle opened up about her nine-year stint at Kerobokan Prison including her descent into a non-verbal schizophrenic state.
“I was out of my mind, literally for about four years. I couldn’t even speak,” she told Kyle and Jackie O.
“People would have to massage my feet and hands because they would cramp. I was in such a hell in my mind, it’s really hard to go back to write.”
Struggling to hold back tears, Schapelle took aim at people who accused her of faking problems with her mental health.
“Mental illness is real. If I could have lived without mental illness, my mind would be so much better,” she said.
She now aims the release of her second book will finally set the record straight.
