One Dead and Five Injured at Beauty Manufacturer KDC/One Shooting in Ohio

A shooting took place Tuesday at the beauty manufacturer KDC/One’s warehouse in New Albany, Ohio.

One victim was killed and five are currently injured. According to a statement from the New Albany police department, there were no other updates regarding the victims as of Wednesday morning.

The New Albany police has stated that the suspect, Bruce Reginald Foster III, has been taken into custody. He was an employee at KDC/One and opened fire in the warehouse in the late evening on Tuesday.

KDC/One chief executive officer Nick Whitley shared the following statement: “We are shocked and saddened by the tragic shooting that occurred on February 4 at our New Albany, Ohio facility. Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted and their families. The safety and wellbeing of our employees is our top priority. We are actively assisting the New Albany Police Department in their ongoing investigation and are sincerely grateful for the swift action of our local authorities and first responders.”

KDC/One manufactures products for 1,000 different beauty and personal care brands globally and most recently acquired Maesa’s European and Middle Eastern operations. Per KDC/One’s LinkedIn, the company maintains 25 manufacturing facilities and has approximately 15,000 employees.
