*NSYNC Reunited on the 2023 VMAs Stage for the First Time in 10 Years, and It’s a Whole Thing
If you spent the ’90s tirelessly advocating for Team *NSYNC over Team Backstreet Boys, we have big news for you: *NSYNC has reunited!! Who knew the Year of Our Lord(e) 2023 would bring such a musical moment. 🥲
*NSYNC—which is made up of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass, for the uninitiated—reunited at the 2023 VMAs for the first time in 10 years.

Word of this moment leaked a few hours before thanks to Billboard, which reported they “will be onstage together.”
Word on the street is that *NSYNC has indeed recorded new music for the upcoming movie Trolls Band Together. (Justin Timberlake has voiced the character Branch in the series for two films now.) If this actually pans out, it’ll be the first music to come from the band since it would mark the group’s first musical release together since they released “When You Wish Upon a Star” for a 2002 Disneymania compilation album.
The last time *NSYNC made a public appearance was exactly 10 years ago, when Justin’s former bandmates joined him on stage at the 2013 Video Music Awards. Their performance started with some of Justin’s singles like “Sexyback” before turning to some band faves like “Gone” and “Bye Bye Bye.”
Clearly, the VMAs are treating the millennials, and we couldn’t be more here for it. ❤️
