No, Taylor Was *Not* Punched After Travis's AFC Championship Game

New footage from the celebration on the field following the Chiefs' AFC Championship win has gone viral...and that's because it seemingly shows Taylor Swift being punched in the face. After Tay rushed to the field to congratulate boyfriend Travis Kelce on his victory, fans think she maaaay have been accidentally bopped on the chin in the chaos. Oh, and the rumored culprit? Patrick Mahomes Sr., aka, Patrick Mahomes's dad.

However! An Us Weekly insider was quick to clear up the rumors. “Taylor was never punched!” the source asserted, adding that the clip doesn’t show the “full picture” and that the unidentified person (who fans believe to be Patrick Sr.) simply “went in for a hug.” So that's that!

Even though #PunchGate has been cleared up, there was still plenty of other activity that went down in Arrowhead Stadium following the Chiefs' big win. For instance, Tay and Trav shared the sweetest embrace, during which she seemingly tells him, “I love you so much. I’m so proud of you. I can’t stand it.”
