Nicky Hilton Reveals the Secret to Her 10-Year Marriage to Husband James Rothschild
“I can’t imagine my life without him,” the fashion icon said on the 'Superwomen with Rebecca Minkoff' podcast

On the Thursday, March 6, episode of the Superwomen with Rebecca Minkoff podcast, the 41-year-old fashion icon detailed the keys to her marriage with the businessman.
“I think having a core friendship. We laugh together. We are very similar. We have a lot of the same interests We love each other,” Hilton said after the host asked her what keeps them "successfully together" after so long.

According to The New York Times, the couple met four years earlier at a wedding in 2011. Since the ceremony, the happily married pair has welcomed three children: Lily-Grace, 8; Teddy, 7; and Chasen, 3.
During the interview, the model and fashion designer also praised her husband’s parenting: “I can't imagine my life without him. He's such an incredible father. And I feel like that makes me fall in love with him more and more.”

“Not everyone is a great parent. To have that incredible partner and be such a good dad is amazing,” she added.
Earlier in the episode, host Minkoff asked Hilton about her experience on the New York dating scene, only for Hilton to describe herself as a “monogamous girl.”
“I wish I had some more salacious stories for you,” she explained. “I was always in a mult-year relationship. So I never really played the field.”

And now I hear the stories with the apps. I mean, I was way ‘wifed’ up before that started.”

In October, Hilton spoke with PEOPLE about the marriage rules she learned from her parents Kathy and Richard Hilton.
"I feel like some of the advice my mom has always given me is [to] never stop having fun, never go to bed angry and just to stop and smell the roses and enjoy every moment,” she said.

“My husband and I, with our work, we travel a lot, but we always try ... We will not leave the children alone. So we try and divvy up our work trips and make sure that we're always present,” she added.

But that doesn’t mean the couple never has a night on their own. She said, “We always try to make that special alone-time date night."
