Nick Viall Reveals Why He and New Wife Natalie Joy Had to ‘Whisper Dirty Talk’ During Their Honeymoon
The newlyweds discussed some intimate details about their romantic getaway to Puerto Rico during a May 16 episode of ‘The Viall Files’ podcast
Nick Viall and Natalie Joy are sharing some steamy details about their honeymoon.
The newlyweds were excited to talk about their getaway as they called in from Puerto Rico for the May 16 episode of Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files, especially after their initial honeymoon plans in Turks & Caicos fell through.
During the episode, the pair revealed how their hotel setup made it challenging to enjoy their honeymoon to the fullest.
“We have an outdoor shower,” Viall, 43, says, “with a little bit of privacy. We did have sex though.”
Joy, 25, starts laughing and asks her husband, “Why would you say that publicly?” The Bachelor star responds: “It's our honeymoon. Can we not be like, we're married, we have a kid.”
The new mom clarifies that she warned her husband beforehand to be “very, very quiet" while enjoying their time together in the outdoor shower because "people do walk around right here.”
Viall then jokes, “So we whispered dirty talk.”
Despite the minor inconvenience, the pair agree that their trip has been smooth sailing so far.
“Our honeymoon has been great. We got here late last night, and then my mom got here today. So my mom has had River for the afternoon,” Joy says, referring to their daughter River Rose whom they welcomed in February. “We went and laid by the beach and had lunch. We talked about River the whole time.”

The couple, who tied the knot at Joy’s family farm in Georgia on April 27, previously explained on The Viall Files why their first honeymoon in Turks and Caicos ended up being a disaster.
Joy said they actually made it all the way to the island destination only to hit a roadblock at the airport when customs flagged her passport for having a torn page.
“It was so hard because we had the best two days ever. And then it was like, we were so excited. And then we got there and it was like, ‘We had put all this work into River's passport and my mom's passport.’ And it was like, ‘I didn't check mine,’” she explained, noting that her mom and daughter had to have their passports expedited in order to make the trip.

They were eventually told by the customs agents, “We’re sending you back.” To make matters even worse, their flight that was rebooked six hours later ended up getting canceled due to a “maintenance issue.”
Even with all the stress, Viall was able to find a silver lining after they were put in a hotel for one night and then finally rebooked for a new flight the next day.
“I'm just like, ‘Babe, all this is is a bad day. That's it. Like, nothing's really changed…’ We had dinner as a family and it was a nice dinner,” he said.
