Nick Cannon on Mariah and Packer's split

It seems we know more about Mariah Carey and James Packer’s split than Mariah's ex Nick Cannon does!

The rapper appeared on The Breakfast Club radio show and revealed to its New York-based hosts he’s not clued in on what’s happening in Mariah’s world and doesn’t really want to know.

"Mariah's available again," one host noted, to which the 36-year-old replied "Is she?"

Playing it coy, the actor said: "You know better than me,” asking again: “Is she?"

The hosts then informed the soon to be father-of-three that his ex and the billionaire called off their engagement.

"Did they? I thought they was working it out,” he continued to play it cool.

"I'm on a need-to-know basis. As long as my kids are good...I don't want to know none of that other stuff."

Nick did admit however while the singer and the Australian entrepreneur were still an item, he’d talk to the Without You hitmaker about their five-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan having a stepfather.

Now that ship has sailed, Nick said: "After that I don't really need to be involved."

Earlier this month US Weekly broke the news about Nick and his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell expecting a child together.

He confirmed the exciting baby news on during the radio segment.

“I’ve got a baby on the way … absolutely … God said be fruitful and multiply,” he said, jokingly adding: “I’m doing the Lord’s work … everybody get a baby! I’m passing them out.”

Meanwhile, Mariah and James are deep in negotiations about the 100 page prenup the pair created together but never signed.

The 46-year-old singer was said to be 'fuming' at the conditions of the original prenuptial agreement offered by James that would have seen her receive $1 million for each year they were married.

According to Page Six, Mariah's manager instantly turned down the offer.

The readjusted terms included $6 million per year of marriage, or $151,385 per week, and up to a maximum of $30 million.

Mariah and James broke up last month after a heated argument during their Holiday in Greece.
