Sharon Stone: 'I'm available for dating'

Sharon Stone stopped by the set of Extra in Los Angeles on July 9 where host Mario Lopez quizzed her on her love life.

The 56-year-old, who became a sex symbol after starring in 1992's Basic Instinct, admitted she's "available for dating."

She explained: "What's happened is my kids have reached the age where I feel comfortable to date. I didn't want to date when they were little. Who needs a bunch of people running in and out of their lives? Now I feel comfortable dating."

Sharon previously opened up about coming to terms with aging back in March and admitted it hasn't been easy.

"There was a point in my 40s where I went into the bathroom with a bottle of wine, locked the door, and said, 'I'm not coming out until I can totally accept the way I look right now", she said.

The twice-divorced actress has three adopted kids, Roan, 14, Laird, 9, and Quinn, 8.
