Kylie Minogue wins Dance Floor Hero award

Can't Get You Out Of My Head singer Kylie Minogue, 44, was given the Dance Floor Hero award by LGBT television network Logo at the NextNowNext Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The network said of the gorgeous Aussie:

"The Dance Floor Hero award honors Kylie's immortal standing in the eyes of the LGBT community.

"The award recognizes her for changing the landscape of dance music and becoming an icon of music, party, and dance culture."

The network added: "Because, let's be honest, there ain't no one that turns it out better than Miss Kylie Minogue."

Minogue shared her excitement on Twitter, writing:

After picking up the award, Minogue - who recently signed with RocNation - also dished the details on her upcoming 12th album.

She told reporters after the event that she is 'almost finished' with the album, adding:

"I didn’t ever really consider giving up completely, but I was kind of seduced into going back to that world."
